Thirumalai Brahmotsavam

Chinna Sesha Vahanam takes place on the morning of Day 2 of the Brahmotsavam. The deity is taken out in procession on a golden vehicle shaped as Vasuki, the serpent king known for his role as the rope in Samudra Manthan (churning of the cosmic ocean).

For this procession, Lord Malayappa Swamy traditionally assumes the Murali Krishna Alankaram (adorned as Lord Krishna playing the flute).
