Yazhi Kireedam

This all-gold polish Yazhi Kireedam (or Yali Mudi) is an ornate South Indian divine crown crafted in high-polish gold with traditional temple repoussé metalwork.

• Yazhi & Avian Motifs: The upper crest is sculpted to embody the mythical Yazhi (a ferocious lion-elephant guardian hybrid) integrated with stylized Gaja-Simha and Peacock (Mayil) crest motifs. The top bulb features intricate feather-scale texturing along with a large carved spiral motif (Surul) reminiscent of South Indian temple pillar carvings.

• Fluid Wave Carvings: The body of the crown flows downward in sweeping, wave-like fluted grooves, evoking natural hair movement or flowing water currents.

• Focal Gemstone: Prominently set at the front center is a single teardrop-cut ruby (Tilakam), framed inside an elaborate golden leaf medallion.

• Base Details: The foundation features a multi-tiered pedestal rim adorned with a lotus petal pattern (Padma Pitha) and a twisted rope border at the very bottom.
